Arsene Wenger hailed Arsenal's Champions League win as evidence of why the club are not 'desperate' for new signings. The Gunners boss has been told he has up to £50million to spend after the club announced £35m profits. Arsenal did look in need of reinforcements before late goals from Robin van Persie and Andrey Arshavin broke Olympiakos's resistance. But Wenger insisted the performance showed the club has enough quality. He said: 'We've got very young players and they make their name here. Robin is now a big name, he was less a big name when he arrived.
