Midfielder Cesc Fabregas has provided Arsenal with a timely boost by pledging his future to the Gunners. Fabregas, 20, had signed an eight-year contract last October, but Thierry Henry's departure to Barcelona has raised doubts over the Spain international's future at the Emirates Stadium. But Fabregas, who started his career at Barcelona, insists he wants to stay in north London. "In ten days I'll be back training with Arsenal, my team. I'm staying in London," he told The Sun. Fabregas joined Arsenal in 2003 and has gone on to make more than 150 first-team appearances. He was named the Gunners' player of the season last term and was also nominated for both the PFA player and young player of the year awards.
