Carlo Ancelotti in for the long haul as Chelsea manager as Arsenal clash awaits

After three years of relative underachievement, there is a belief at Chelsea that what became the established order of English football under Jose Mourinho is again being restored. Captain John Terry appears in little doubt while Carlo Ancelotti is so happy with life at Stamford Bridge that he spoke on Friday of potentially remaining Chelsea manager for 20 years. [LNB]Ancelotti is Chelsea's fifth manager since 2007, a stark contrast to Arsenal where Arsène Wenger has been at the helm since 1996 but, when asked if he could stay for 10 years, the Italian simply said: 'Ten years? Why not 20?'[LNB] Related ArticlesArsenal v Chelsea: match previewJohn Terry distances himself from 2010 email furoreWenger: Fifa failed to punish Chelsea over KakutaEngland captain Terry looks to cash in on statusAnelka's winning Chelsea smileSettled Nicolas Anelka eyes second titleThere was a smile on Ancelotti's face but, having lasted eight years at AC Milan, something of a record in Serie A where managers are changed with considerable regularity, he was not joking. [LNB]'My objective is to maintain and keep this position for a long time,' said the 50-year old. 'I've enjoyed being here and I'm a young coach. Chelsea is a like a family. I like the football, too, because matches in England are totally different to in Italy where there is pressure, violence for me that is important.' Bullish as ever, Terry paid Ancelotti what amounts to the ultimate compliment at Chelsea by saying that the team are now back to the level they consistently produced under Mourinho. While on England duty in Doha, the feedback from others in the squad also left Terry believing that the rest of the Premier League are again fearing Chelsea. More ominously, he is adamant that the best is still to come. [LNB]'I think we got a bit of stick for the way we played [under Mourinho] but looking back, we did exactly what we had to do,' said Terry. 'I think at times we've showed people that we can really open teams up, that we can score goals as well as grinding out a result. I think we're looking back to our best. The momentum, the way we're playing and the confidence can only take us in one direction and that's forward. [LNB]'We can work better and will find solutions from where we've gone wrong. [LNB]There is still more to come from us.' The return of Frank Lampard after only two weeks out with a small tear to his thigh has also provided Chelsea with a huge lift. 'He's going to play a massive part if he can,' said Terry. 'He's been fighting for the last 10 days to try and get fit for the Arsenal game.' Lampard's rehabilitation included a visit to Belgrade to see Marijana Kovacevic, the therapist who used horse placenta to treat Arsenal's Robin van Persie. [LNB]Chelsea, who sanctioned Lampard's trip, say he was not treated with placenta and returned after only an hour of basic massage. 'We sent the doctor with Lampard to understand and look at this treatment and how it works,' said Ancelotti. [LNB]
