Former captain Sol Campbell could return to training with Arsenal following his departure from Notts County.[LNB]The 35-year-old defender is currently without a club after leaving the Magpies last month. He had signed a five-year deal at Meadow Lane but played in only one game for the Coca-Cola League Two club.[LNB]Campbell is still under contract with County and therefore could not formerly rejoin the Gunners, who he played for for five years before moving to Portsmouth in 2006.[LNB]But he has spoken to boss Arsene Wenger about the possibility of training with his old side.[LNB]"It will be great to train here and get fit," said the defender on skysports.com. "I've spoken to Arsene, hopefully we can get everything right and speak to the right people and get a couple of the physios and fitness guys to help me and train. My overall fitness is okay. But something else might happen before then."[LNB]Under current rules, Campbell looks set to have to wait until January to join a new club because he has already played for two sides in 2009.
