Alberto Aquilani is relishing a crack at Arsenal after making his first start for Liverpool.[LNB]The £20million summer signing from Roma had to be patient as he recovered from ankle surgery and made just three substitute appearances before Wednesday night's Champions League dead rubber against Fiorentina.[LNB]But the Italian midfielder played most of the 2-1 defeat against his countrymen and is desperate to be involved when the Gunners arrive at Arsenal on Sunday.[LNB] Raring to go: Aquilani wants to play a key role against Arsenal at Anfield[LNB]'I started for the first time in seven or eight months - that's very hard,' he told the Reds' official website.[LNB]'After that length of time it's difficult to be fit but I'm happy because I'm playing and that means I'm getting there. My ankle is better, it's improved, so while the result was not good here, from a personal point of view it's been good physically.[LNB]  'I can play better but it was important to start and to run. I need to play, play, play because I'm in a new team. The first half I was okay and then after that a little bit tired, but that's normal. Now I need to work hard in training for my body.[LNB]'I hope I can play against Arsenal.'[LNB] Liverpool plan to swap flop Ryan Babel for Spurs misfit Roman PavlyuchenkoLukasz Fabianski urges Arsene Wenger to keep him in the Arsenal goal at LiverpoolMascherano puts Barca on red alert as midfielder remains coy over futureArsenal wonderkid Tom Cruise is making all the right moves to becoming a superstar in his own right Is that what The Kop's been waiting for?
