Brighton play host to Premier League giants Arsenal at fourth round stage

Brighton will check on the fitness of defender Bruno before going in search of another Premier League scalp in the FA Cup fourth round, with Arsenal hoping to avoid suffering the same fate as Newcastle at the AMEX Stadium.

Bruno has been sidelined for the past five matches with an Achilles problem but is close to returning. If manager Gus Poyet opts not to risk him, fellow Spaniard Inigo Calderon will continue at right-back. Former Spain midfielder Vicente came through his first league start of the season in Tuesday's draw at Blackburn unscathed after recovering from a thigh injury and could keep his place.

Casper Ankergren may get another run-out in goal in place of Tomasz Kuszczak after playing in the third round win over Newcastle. Argentinian striker Leonardo Ulloa is still awaiting his debut following his recent switch from Primera Liga side Almeria. Arsenal will be without captain Thomas Vermaelen on Saturday as he continues to nurse an ankle problem.

Midfielders Abou Diaby (thigh) and Tomas Rosicky (calf) are set to be available again, but Mikel Arteta (calf) and Francis Coquelin (hamstring) remain sidelined. Forward Gervinho is away at the Africa Cup of Nations with the Ivory Coast and goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski (foot) is not yet in contention.
