Boost for Portsmouth as O'Hara rejoins on loan switch from Tottenham

Portsmouth were handed a rare fillip on Friday when it was announced Tottenham's Jamie O'Hara had moved backl to Fratton Park until the end of the season.[LNB]It followed news that former Arsenal striker Quincy Owusu-Abeyie had also committed himself to the club until the summer.[LNB]Midfielder O'Hara excelled on the south coast when on loan in the first part of the season, making 14 appearances and scoring once.[LNB]Boss Avram Grant has been desperate to get him back. Portsmouth haven't won in the Premier League since he left.[LNB] Back in action: Jamie O'Hara impressed during his initial spell at Portsmouth[LNB]O'Hara was unable to extend the terms of his loan initially becauseof the transfer embargo placed on Portsmouth in October. That waslifted last week, allowing the player to complete his return.  [LNB]He joined Spurs' academy in 2003 and has featured 56 times for the north London club, netting seven goals.[LNB]Spartak Moscow striker Owusu-Abeyie has also joined, subject to international clearance.[LNB]The 23-year-old told the club's official website: 'I'm looking to bring a lot to the club. I'm happy to be here and hopefully I can have a big impact and help the club stay in the Premier League.[LNB]'If we stay focused then I'm sure we can win some matches and get out of the relegation places.[LNB]'I've played in the Premier League before and it's great to be back.
