Bolton defender Gary Cahill appeals red card in Arsenal defeat

Bolton defender Gary Cahill has appealed to the FA against the red card he received in Saturday's Barclays Premier League match against Arsenal.   Cahill was dismissed for his foul from behind on Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh after 64 minutes of the Emirates Stadium clash. The Gunners, who led 2-1 at the time, went on to win the match 4-1.   The appeal will be held by a regulatory commission tomorrow, the FA announced.   Seeing red: Cahill was dismissed for his lunge on Arsenal striker Chamakh Bolton manager Owen Coyle was disappointed by referee StuartAttwell's decision to judge the foul as a sending-off offence, sayingon Saturday: "I don't think it merited a red.   'All of a sudden we were playing Arsenal with 10 men, and it isdifficult at the best of times with 11.
