Blackburn manager Sam Allardyce does not expect to share a drink with Arsene Wenger after his side play Arsenal in the Premier League this weekend.[LNB]But he isn't bothered too much - as long as Wenger's Arsenal side fail to collect a win bonus.[LNB]Allardyce has enjoyed some victories - on the back of some gritty football - and irritated his French counterpart in the process first with Bolton and now with Blackburn.[LNB] Old rivals: Wenger and Allardyce have clashed many times in the past[LNB]They chalked up a fighting 2-1 home victory last season thanks to goals from Chris Samba and David Dunn after Robin van Persie had given Arsenal the lead.[LNB]On sharing a glass or two with Wenger, Allardyce said: 'He's never been the type of man to do that and neither have most foreign coaches that have been here.[LNB]'Rafa Benitez was the same and Carlo Ancelotti never came into my office last year.[LNB]'British coaches see it as an unwritten rule that no matter what they pop in and see the manager after the game.[LNB]'It has never been the case with Arsene but that does not particularly worry me. What worries me is making sure that we must not let them beat us.[LNB]'We must not let them use their skills and that is a big concern to us because they are one of the top teams in the country.[LNB]'For many years we have pitted our wits against each other and when you've had some success over that time then you obviously remember how you did it.'[LNB]Allardyce takes extra confidence going into the match from his side's good form at Ewood Park. They beat Everton on the opening day and lost only three times in the league last season in front of their own supporters.[LNB] Heads up: Chris Samba scores as Blackburn beat Arsenal last season[LNB]He said: 'Psychologically we feel very good when we play at home. The players come in and feel very buoyant and I need to keep that feeling going as long as possible.[LNB]'It has been going for the best part of two years now. Ever since I came here, even though we were in the doldrums and in the bottom three, we were always very competitive and capable of picking up points at home.[LNB]'Overall I've lost about five home games during my time at Ewood Park and that is a record we want to keep and we want to improve on.[LNB]'You can't ever give up on telling your players how to do the right things in the right areas.[LNB]'You must constantly get onto them about continuing to do those things no matter who you are playing. If you do that then you get the results. If you don't you can end up slipping up.'[LNB]Last season's leading goalscorer Dunn, who has been troubled by a groin injury, could return to the side after resuming training this week.[LNB]Gael Givet is expected to play after losing a tooth in the Carling Cup win over Norwich which left him in some discomfort.[LNB] Arsenal should sign Shay Given from Manchester City, insists former Gunners great Bob WilsonFree agent Benjani set to seal move to Blackburn after Man City releaseBLACKBURN ROVERS FC
