Benfica make Traore enquiry - Report

Portuguese giants Benfica have made an approach to sign Arsenal full-back Armand Traore, according to reports on Tuesday.[LNB] The Frenchman has struggled to make an impact at Emirates Stadium since his arrival at the club five years ago and he has featured just 31 times for the first team.[LNB]He spent the 2008/09 season on loan at Portsmouth and made only 13 appearances in all competitions upon his return to Arsenal last season.[LNB]Traore is behind Gael Clichy and Kieran Gibbs in the pecking order for the left-back role and may now be allowed to leave North London.[LNB]According to Sky Sports News Benfica are keen on either a loan or permanent deal and are awaiting a response from Gunners boss Arsene Wenger.
