Bendtner happy at Arsenal

Striker Nicklas Bendtner has pledged his long-term future to Arsenal amid reports of interest from other clubs.

Bendtner, 20, has yet to make a first-team place his own at the Emirates Stadium and has been linked with a move away from the north London club.

The Denmark striker fanned the flames of speculation himself earlier in the month after suggesting he could look elsewhere for starting opportunities.

But now Bendtner claims he is happy with the Gunners and is not paying attention to reported interest from several other clubs across Europe.

Bendtner has started just eight Premier League games for Arsene Wenger's side this season.

"I don't think about all the rumours because I am an Arsenal player and really love it here," he said.

"I hope that I can say stay here for a long time because to me Arsenal are the dream club."
