Striker Nicklas Bendtner has vowed to kick on and become a first-team regular at
Arsenal.
Bendtner, 20, is in line to make only his third Premier League start for the Gunners when Middlesbrough visit the Emirates Stadium on Saturday evening.
The Danish youngster has made a host of substitute appearances and spent last season on loan at Birmingham City, but after tasting first-team action of late, he is determined to be a success with the Gunners.
"I need to obviously get more games," he told Arsenal TV.
"The more you play with the team as a regular starter, then the more you get to learn and know the team.
"If I can get a good run in the side, then I am sure you will see that I can do it."
Meanwhile, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has revealed that Eduardo Da Silva made a visit to the club's training complex this week.
The Croatia striker could be absent for up to 15 months after suffering a horrific broken leg and dislocated ankle injury three weeks ago.
"We saw him today. He came in and it was fantastic. He looked good. He is positive in his mind and a strong boy mentally," said the Frenchman.
"Of course we are sad to lose him for the season but we are all pleased at the way he is dealing with it.
"Everybody who has been in this situation knows how difficult this is to take."
