Barcelona to offer £36m for Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas

Barcelona are set to make their latest offer to Arsenal in an effort to bring the long-running transfer saga of Cesc Fabregas to an end.[LNB]The proposed deal will be worth ?36million - a fixed bid of ?26m with ?10m of add-ons based on appearances and the club's success after Fabregas's return to the Nou Camp.[LNB]The move is being handled by Barca president Sandro Rosell, who left the club's tour of the United States on Sunday.[LNB] Watching brief: Cesc Fabregas (left) did not play in the Emirates Cup[LNB]It is also understood that the way the payments would be structured means Arsenal, who value the midfielder at ?40m, would receive only around a third of the fixed fee - ?8.6m - as a down payment.[LNB]Arsenal have said they want the matter decided one way or the other by the end of the week.
