Barcelona have pulled the plug on their bid to lure back Cesc Fabregas. The Spanish giants were desperate to land the inspirational Arsenal skipper, who spent his formative years at the Nou Camp. Yet, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger refused to consider selling up and his Barca counterpart Pep Guardiola admits the deal is dead - for now. 'Cesc will not come,' he said. 'I believe it will not be possible this season. 'He is an important player for Arsenal and they have already sold Kolo Toure and Emmanuel Adebayor. He is a very interesting footballer, but now he will play another year in England.'
