arcelona director of football Andoni Zubizarreta insists he has not held discussions with Arsene Wenger regarding the sale of Cesc Fabregas.[LNB] Arsenal rejected a bid from Pep Guardiola's Spanish giants for captain Fabregas in the summer on the basis that a reported £29million offer did not match their valuation.[LNB]Despite a change in Barcelona's hierarchy, speculation has continued to suggest that the Spain midfielder will return to the Camp Nou at the end of the current season.[LNB]Some reports have even implied that a deal for Fabregas, who is understood to be keen on a move back to the club where he began his youth career, has already been agreed in exchange for Barcelona ending their pursuit in June.[LNB]But Spanish footballing legend Zubizarreta, a July appointment by new Barcelona president Sandro Rosell, is adamant that this is not the case. [LNB]Zubizarreta told Com Radio when asked about Fabregas: "I have not spoken to Wenger about a guarantee for the transfer next season.[LNB]"Cesc is a very good footballer, but now I do not say if he enters into our plans for the next season."
