Barca are probably the best in history, gushes Arsenal star Fabregas

Cesc Fabregas is once again flirting with Barcelona by admitting it would be a dream to return to the Nou Camp. The Catalan came through the Barca youth team before joining Arsenal as a 16-year-old in 2003 and he has repeatedly made overtures about returning. After watching his former side destroy Manchester United in the Champions League final in Rome, Fabregas told Barcelona radio station ONA FM: 'Which player would not like to play for a team like that at the moment? 'They are probably the best team in history that I have seen play and I have a lot of friends there who are always telling me great things.  'Of course, you feel envy in a healthy way because of the way they play football. Everyone's dream is to play in a team like that.' Emmanuel Adebayor is widely expected to leave in thesummer - to AC Milan or Chelsea - and the French manager will not wantto also rebuild his midfield. Whether Fabregas could muscle into a Barcelona side that includes Xavi and Andres Iniesta is a different matter. He often has to settle for a place on the bench in the national side. The 22-year-old revealed he had already called former Emirates team-mate Thierry Henry about the defeat of United. 'I spoke to him yesterday and that was the only (trophy) that he was missing,' said Fabregas. 'He was delighted. 'He had a difficult year adapting and this year he came into his own as (Barca coach Joesp) Guardiola showed faith in him. 'Now Henry has everything and I do not know if there are many players that can equal his honours list.' Arsene Wenger would fight to keep his captain should Barcelona try to sign him this summer, but there is unrest at Arsenal's four-year trophley lessrun.
