Arsene's Arsenal concern

22 January 2013 08:52

Arsene Wenger is concerned about his side’s current Premier League form, and after two consecutive league losses he had said he is genuinely worried about his sides push for a Champions League spot.

Arsenal currently lie in 6th, two places and seven points off Tottenham in 4th. Arsenal do face West Ham in mid week to play their game in hand and with Tottenham’s next game, a trip to Norwich, postponed they do have a chance to close the gap, but they must end their poor form to do so. “It will be a tough challenge for us to make the top four. We need to learn to be much more efficient with the quality of game we use.” He also believes that Arsenal “cannot afford to drop anymore points” to get in the top four. His warning to his players came after the 2-1 defeat at Stamford Bridge to Chelsea on Sunday at which he was very disappointed at the start his team made. Frustrated at having the first chance and failing to take it. From then on Chelsea dominated the first 45 which was the center of their victory.

Arsenal who have often set aside the chance of Cups and Trophies for Champions League qualification, now find themselves stuck in a situation where they could achieve neither.

Do you think Wenger’s time is up? Do you think Arsenal will manage any trophies this season?
