Arsene Wenger has highlighted the lack of a commanding voice at the back as a major threat to Arsenal's title challenge this season. [LNB]The Gunners came unstuck against Wigan on Wednesday night, drawing 2-2 after conceding an unnecessary late corner before more communication problems culminated in Sebastien Squillaci heading into his own net.[LNB]Admitting that results are suffering due to the communication breakdowns, Wenger said: 'Nobody is taking charge on the organisation side, there is no voice when the focus drops a little bit. We need to communicate much better. That's something we need to rectify. You don't feel that anybody takes charge on alertness.' [LNB] Not again: Sebastien Squillaci scores a late own goal to deny Arsenal a win at Wigan[LNB]Arsenal have been hampered by the loss of Thomas Vermaelen to an achilles injury, while summer signings Squillaci and Laurent Koscielny have failed to attain the necessary level of consistency. [LNB]But before Arsenal fans start rubbing their hands at the prospect of abig-money move for a defender in the Tony Adams mould, they should takenote of the fact Wenger is sticking to the line that, barring furtherinjuries, he will not be spending in the transfer window.[LNB]Missing man: Thomas Vermaelen has barely featured this season due to an achilles problem[LNB]'We focus on the players we have and I think we have enough quality,' said Wenger, who has urged his men to bounce back from the low of drawing to Wigan, which came shortly after the high generated by a 3-1 win over Chelsea. [LNB]He added: 'We need to recover quickly and focus again. It's down to us. The players are very frustrated but they can be strong in their belief and think, 'That will not happen again'. [LNB]'We've had a disappointment, so it's important to bounce backquickly now and go to Birmingham with belief. We have so many games insuch a short period that, at the end of the day, you will count howmany points we got at the end of the Christmas period. [LNB]'At the moment we got four out of six with two difficult games. That's positive and let's get into the next one now.' [LNB]Atleast Wenger has no fresh injury concerns at the back ahead oftomorrow's trip to Birmingham, although midfielder Abou Diaby findshimself on the treatment table again after a calf strain forced him offin the first half at the DW Stadium.[LNB]'He just felt somethingand had to come off,' said Wenger. 'It is a calf strain, and it isgoing to be some weeks before he is fit again. In my opinion, he willbe out for over three weeks. It is something we could have donewithout.'
