Arsene Wenger challenges Jack Wilshere to cement Arsenal place

Arsene Wenger is ready to give Jack Wilshere the chance to prove he can make it in the Arsenal first team. [LNB]Bolton Wanderers are keen on taking the exciting 18-year-old midfielder on loan again for the new season after he impressed during a spell at the Reebok Stadium last term. [LNB]But Wilshere has been impressive for the Gunners in pre-season, creating two goals in the 4-0 win at Barnet and playing a part in the 3-0 win over Sturm Graz in Austria on Wednesday. [LNB] Young Gunner: Wilshere has looked good as Arsenal prepare for the new season[LNB]Wenger said: 'At the moment, I want Jack to gain experience and, if possible, at Arsenal. I will give him a chance to play now.[LNB] 'I want to see if he can integrate with the first team. Of course, I will make that decision later. Ideally, it is better that he gains experience with us. [LNB]'I am a bit keen not to create too much hype around the young English players. They need to work hard and we have outstanding English talent.' [LNB]The Gunners boss refused to confirm his interest in signing Fulham goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer, but he did warn goalkeepers Manuel Almunia and Lukasz Fabianski that they had to fight for their places.
