We were a bit slow at the start and they took advantage of it.[LNB]"What happened to us can happen to any team in the world, and to win a game against a very motivated team you need to work very hard and that's what we did.[LNB]Stunned"We put every effort into coming back to win. Certainly getting to 2-1 just before half-time helped. We had no choice but to give everything in the second 45 minutes.[LNB]"We had a lot of possession (in the second half) and in every single one-against-one they put everything in, and that made it difficult. It was a very difficult game.[LNB]"I look at the list of players who did not play tonight and I believe this tells you a lot about our squad and our spirit. Three difficult points, that is a very good start for us.[LNB]"After two disappointments in the league, it was very important for us to win tonight."[LNB]Wenger also reserved praise for centre-back Vermaelen, adding: "He is a good defender and as well he is strong on set-pieces. I think he had an outstanding game again tonight. He adapted very well."[LNB]
