Arsenal's Jack Wilshere to get chances but Arsene Wenger remains cautious over youth

Wilshere shone during pre-season but was not part of the squad that demolished Everton 6-1 on Saturday even though Samir Nasri, Theo Walcott, Abou Diaby and Tomas Rosicky were all injured. "Jack Wilshere will play a part in our season but not the whole season he is 17 years old," said Wenger. "On one side people say 'you are too young, you do not have enough experience' and on the other they say 'why do you not play people who are 17 and win the league'. We are already very young. "I didn't have a problem with playing Fabregas [at 17] because he was one of the few young players. Now one of the oldest is Fabregas." Following the excellent start to the season, Wenger will tell his players to remain "serene" and believes that the continuity within his squad can work to Arsenal's advantage. "Team sport is very interesting because there is a chemistry, a magic, that can be developed as well in a different way, in a style of play that can give you an advantage," he said. "We have the advantage of stability. We are not in the position where we have too much worry about fitting in the players. We know how we want to play and the players know how we want to play. I believe that can be an advantage. "I look at last year as a product of bad circumstances, we had a bad start that is why maybe we feel a little bit under pressure to start well. At the moment, nobody looks at us as a potential fighter for the championship but maybe that should not add too much pressure on our shoulders but it can. I believe that we have to keep serene, focused and not put unneeded pressure on our shoulders and focus on how we want to play."
