Arsenal's Jack Wilshere cautioned by police for common assault

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has received a caution for common assault following a street brawl.[LNB]The 18-year-old England international was arrested and bailed following the incident in Kensington High Street, London, in the early hours of August 29.[LNB]A spokesman for the Met said: 'An 18-year-old male has attended a west London police station where he received a caution for common assault.'[LNB] Brawl: Jack Wilshere was arrested after this fight, captured by security cameras at the Daily Mail's offices in Kensington[LNB] [LNB]Rising star: Arsenal expect big things of midfielder Wilshere[LNB]Wilshere was leaving a nightclub with three friends when a brawl broke out.  The fracas took place on the steps of the Daily Mail's offices in Kensington, West London, shortly after 2.30am.[LNB]The Mail's CCTV cameras captured the incident and appear to show punches being thrown among the warring groups.[LNB]Two people needed hospital treatment following the brawl. A man received facial injuries and a woman suffered a broken arm.[LNB]Last month, Duane Brailsford, 18, of Hitchin, Herts, was charged with affray and actual bodily harm in connection with the incident.[LNB]Adam Mardell, 21, also of Hitchin, Herts, was charged with affray.[LNB]Wilshere's spokesman insisted  that the player's involvement was that of a peacemaker.[LNB]'During a night out with friends, Jack intervened as a peacemaker in an incident to protect a friend,' said the spokesman.[LNB]'The police have accepted that Jack's involvement was such that it could be dealt with by way of a caution.
