Arsenal's Eduardo benefits from medical mixup

It seemed a little draconian to stop them doing their job because they had a bit of fun on the premises. But at least there was one beneficiary of the news. After being initially banned for diving by Uefa, Arsenal’s Eduardo this week saw his punishment rescinded and he was allowed to play – and score the winning goal – in Wednesday’s Champions League game against Standard Liège. Clearly the disciplinary committee had seen the story about the fun-loving medics and accepted that the Croatian wasn’t diving in the Celtic penalty area. He was merely posing for a picture to be posted on the Lying Down Game website
