Arsenal's Denílson out for two months with back injury

The club on Monday learned that the former Sao Paulo player would face a prolonged spell on the sidelines after suffering a fracture in his back. [LNB]The 21-year-old Brazilian, who featured in 37 Premier League matches for the North London club last season and was recently handed a new contract, picked up the injury in Arsenal's 4-2 defeat at Manchester City on Sept 12 and scans revealed the severity of the problem. [LNB]The Danish international is understood to have suffered the accident while driving his Aston Martin northbound on the A1 towards South Mimms. [LNB]"Nicklas did not practice because he had a car accident yesterday," Wenger said. "Fortunately there was no real long-term damage, but he was bruised and we thought it better he did not train. He should be back for Sunday's game [against Blackburn]."[LNB]Wenger, whose team opened their Champions League campaign with a 3-2 victory against Standard Liege after hitting back from two goals behind, will also be without Theo Walcott for Tuesday night's fixture at the Emirates Stadium.
