Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas has not sealed Barcelona move for next summer, admit Catalan giants
Barcelona have not already secured a deal to take Cesc Fabregas to Spain next summer, but will not rule out a future move for the Arsenal captain, according to director of football Andoni Zubizaretta.[LNB]Fabregas has long been the Catalan giants' top transfer target and, despite the failure of the very public courting of the Spain midfielder last summer, reports this week suggested that a deal had been struck for Fabregas to make his Nou Camp move at the end of this season. [LNB]Arsene Wenger has remained steadfast in his belief that Fabregas is going nowhere, earlier this month claiming his man would stay at the club for 'a few more years', and Zubizaretta has now also admitted that no agreement had been reached to sign the Gunners' star man.[LNB] Top target: Barcelona have made several attempts to sign Cesc Fabregas [LNB] 'I have not spoken to Wenger about a guarantee for the transfer next season,' said Zubizaretta. 'Cesc is a very good footballer, but now I do not say if he enters into our plans for the next season. [LNB]'We will value the player, and we will decide. We will plan, and see if Cesc falls into that plan or not.' [LNB]Zubizaretta, Spain's former goalkeeper, also claimed that Barcelona would naot make any additions to the squad during the January transfer window.
