Arsenal's Emmanuel Eboue back on Barcelona radar

Barcelona have renewed their interest in Arsenal's Emmanuel Eboue as coach Pep Guardiola looks to provide cover for Dani Alves. Rampaging right-back Alves is viewed as the best in the world in his position and the Catalan giants do not have a natural replacement for the Brazilian. Versatile: Arsenal ace Eboue can play in defence and provide an attacking threat Barcelona's pursuit of Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas given green light by Spanish FACentre-half Carles Puyol has filled in when needed but now, according to reports in Catalonia, Guardiola has a list of four possible targets. Eboue, who can also play on the wing, Schalke's Rafinha, Cristian Ansaldi from Rubin Kazan and Osasuna defender Cesar Azpilicueta are all on Barca's radar. Eboue has already been linked with a move to the Nou Camp and Serie A outfit Roma were interested in the 26-year-old. Top of the pile: Alves (right) is regarded as the master of his position Arsenal signed Eboue in 2004 and it is unlikely he would move to a club in the knowledge he would be second choice. Eboue is preparing to turn out for Ivory Coast in the World Cup in South Africa next month.   Barcelona's pursuit of Cesc Fabregas given green light by Spanish FAArsenal attract interest from billionaire tycoon: Nigerian eyes 16 per cent stakeBarcelona poised to launch official £30m bid for Arsenal's Cesc FabregasWenger welcomes 'fighter' Chamakh as striker is finally confirmed as a GunnerARSENAL FC
