Arsenal line up Celtic replacement for Alex song

Spanish website SPORT.es is claiming the signing of Arsenal midfielder Alex Song should be completed within the next 48 hours.

Barcelona had been trying hard to bring in Athletic Bilbao’s Javi Martinez but are ready to drop the pursuit of the Spaniard and instead concentrate on signing the 24 year old Arsenal man.

Arsenal are reluctant to sell the Cameroon international, but the article says their head could be turned with an offer of 20 million Euros.

Barca though don't seem willing to pay such a fee for the player and value him around the 15 million mark.
