Arsenal legend David Seaman demands Gunners bring home some silverware

Arsenal legend David Seaman believes it is time for Arsene Wenger's side to start delivering trophies. The Gunners have not tasted glory since lifting the FA Cup in 2005 and Seaman, who was with the north Londoners from 1990 until 2003, will no longer accept inexperience as an excuse. 'Arsenal, as we've seen in previous seasons, have always been there or thereabouts,' he said. 'Now is the time for them to really step up and show what they can do because everybody keeps saying they've not got experience but this is year after year so now they've got to have the experience. Silver lining: Seaman feels it is time for the Arsenal players to make their mark 'They've been in these positions before and now they need to take that one step further and hopefully get some trophies back to the Emirates.' Seaman was also gutted at England's failure to land the 2018 World Cup after Russia were announced as the hosts. The 75-times capped former keeper said: 'It's just weird. It's so disappointing and so frustrating. 'I've played in two World Cups, I've been involved in three, I know what the World Cup is, I know what it's like and to have it back in England would have been spectacular.'  Arsenal starlet Aaron Ramsey admits relief after ending nine months of injury hell on loan at Nottingham ForestAll the latest Premier League team news ahead of the weekendArsenal striker Chamakh targets 20 goals on debut season at the Emirates Ferguson focused on big guns as Arsenal and Chelsea wait for UnitedARSENAL FC
