Arsenal defender Kieran Gibbs should only be missing for the "short term" after injuring his foot in Tuesday's Carling Cup victory over Tottenham.Gunners boss Arsene Wenger had feared Gibbs, 20, had suffered his second broken metatarsal bone in a year. But scans have revealed the left-back has not suffered a fracture.
