Arsenal young gun Henri Lansbury signs long-term contract at the Emirates

Arsenal midfielder Henri Lansbury has agreed a new long-term deal, the London club have announced on their website.   [LNB]New deal: Lansbury has signed a new contract with Arsenal [LNB]The Gunners have also confirmed the 19-year-old has extended his loan spell with Coca-Cola Championship side Watford until the end of the season.   [LNB]Lansbury joined the Emirates club as a scholar in 2007, signing professional terms in summer 2008. [LNB]The teenager made his debut in the 3-0 Carling Cup victory overSheffield United in October 2007 and he has made four first-teamappearances in all, all in the league cup.   [LNB]He went on loan to Scunthorpe last season, scoring five goals in 17appearances during a three-month stay and was in the starting line-upfor the Iron's Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat by Luton at Wembley.   [LNB]Lansbury has made 20 appearances and scored twice since joiningWatford on loan in the summer and he will now stay with Malky Mackay'sside until the end of the season.
