Arsenal will sign Yann M'Villa this summer

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is ready to step up his interest of Rennes midfielder Yann M'Villa after chasing the 22 year old last summer, only to see the deal fall through late on in the final day of the window.

Arsenal will make a fresh approach for the troubled star this summer, following the news that Rennes are willing to let the combative midfielder leave the club, for the right price.

The club’s general manager Pierre Dreossi told radio station RMC that Rennes will listen to offers for the player.

He said: “It's possible [he'll leave] if we get some interesting offers.

“He wants to leave, but if it doesn't happen, it will be next summer. It's no catastrophe. He missed out on a transfer last summer. If there's an interesting opportunity for everyone, we'll find a solution.”
