Arsenal warned to be braced for Bacary Sagna bid from Inter Milan

Bacary Sagna's agent has warned Arsenal to expect Inter Milan to come calling for the full-back in the summer.

The Italians are expected to lose Maicon at the end of the season - the Brazilian has been linked with Real Madrid and Manchester City - and Christophe Mongai believes Sagna is the man Inter boss Jose Mourinho will turn to.

'If the Nerazzurri were to sell Douglas Maicon it would be just normal for them to sign Sagna,' Mongai told Italian webiste TuttoMercatoWeb.

'In the next transfer window I expect lots of moves in that position. I have been in contact with Inter but nothing serious has been done yet. It is too early. We will talk about it at a later stage.'

Frenchman Sagna, 27, arrived in north London in 2007 and Mongai insists he is happy with the Gunners.

He added: 'I would like to underline that he is happy in London but football is a business and anything could happen.'
