Arsenal v AC Milan: Match Preview

Arsene Wenger has several new injury problems ahead of the second leg tie with AC Milan tonight.

Wenger has refused to give up on the tie despite the 4-0 deficit from the first leg.

"Certainly. I would be extremely pleased and happy with it. I have a gut feeling the players can do it and my job until 7.45pm tonight is to convince them they can do it."

"Sometimes when you made a big score, the difficulty is always psychological.

"When you have made a big lead, you think you just need to turn up and make sure you defend well, and the other team has nothing to lose so they just go for it."

Mikel Arteta was taken to hospital during the Gunners' clash with Liverpool on Saturday, after suffering a concussion.

His replacement Abou Diaby picked a hamstring injury, fellow midfielders Aaron Ramsey and Yossi Benayoun are also out.

Left-back Kieran Gibbs also picked up a knock against Liverpool and is doutbful, Carl Jenkinson could deputise.

Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain and Gervinho could start while Johan Djourou is in contention to return to the side.

Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri is without Alexandre Pato.

Clarence Seedorf, Kevin-Prince Boateng and former Gunner Mathieu Flamini could also miss out.

Massimo Ambrosini is suspended but Urby Emanuelson and Luca Antonini could return.
