Arsenal to make shock move for Manchester United Star?

The current Premier League leaders are reportedly thinking about making a move for Manchester United’s Javier Hernandez.

Arsenal could move forward in January with a shocking transfer, with reports hinting the title contenders are considering making a deal for the Mexican United striker.

Hernandez has been at Old Trafford since making a move from Liga MX’s Guadalajara in 2010. During his time with the Reds, Hernandez has become a favorite amongst supporters due his golden goal-scoring finishing touches. Yet, he has not been able to secure himself a position in the starting line-up.

His lack of inclusion in the starting line-up has led to many speculations about the Mexican’s future with the club, with rumors suggesting that Tottenham’s Andre Villas-Boas is looking to sign him.

However, they now might face tough competition from their London rivals over Hernandez. The Daily Mail is claiming that the striker – currently valued at about £15 million - has become a Jaunary target for Arsenal’s boss Arsene Wenger.

The move may be perceived as slightly unrealistic and impossible to both Arsenal and Manchester United, but Arsenal is expected to make a move in the January transfer window to add another forward to their side.

While Arsenal is in the market for a new forward, Hernandez could also be looking to make a move away from United and his lack of playing time at Old Trafford could definitely entice the Mexican to leave United. Hernandez caused a lot of speculation earlier this week by re-tweeting an interview that suggested he might need to leave the club.
