Udinese have no plans to sell Gokhan Inler despite several clubs having expressed an interest in the Switzerland international.
Premier League title contenders Arsenal were among the clubs keen on signing the 25-year-old central midfielder in the summer.
'Inler is a great player and it's logical that many clubs are interested in him,' said Udinese general director Sergio Gasparin to Radio Kiss Kiss.
'Gokhan is also an exceptional person. Our position is that of giving continuity to our technical project, hence, we do not want to enter talks to discuss Inler's eventual departure.'
Inler, who is under contract until June 2012, has made 11 league appearances for Udinese this season.
