Arsenal table audacious bid for Tottenham superstar

Arsenal have reportedly made a cheeky inquiry regarding the availability of one of Tottenham's brightest talents with the transfer window set to ignite. Daniel Levy has agreed to the sale of top talent before such as the move of Bale to Real Madrid but would he agree to sell a player to arch rivals Arsenal?

The player in question is none other than Dele Alli which means Wenger is not only concerned about forwards but creative/attacking midfielders and Dele Alli would certainly fit the bill. The rumour originates from Italian journalist Emanuele Giulianelli according to a report in the Express who tweeted: “Arsenal have asked Tottenham info about Dele Alli.”

The Telegraph claim that the approach did meet with a reply and valuation stating that no offers below £100m would be considered.

The 20-year-old midfielder was a sensation last season at Spurs who he joined in 2015 from Milton keynes Dons for an initial fee of just £5m. Alli has already scored 10 league goals in 33 league appearances for Tottenham and is considered one of English footballs brightest talents. In a recent young player ranking by Gazzetta dello Sport of the best 50 footballers under-20 he was ranked 8th.
