As Arsenal await news on whether Cesc Fabregas has broken his shin, they have suffered a further blow after Andrey Arshavin was sidelined for up to three weeks in their trophy crusade.

The Gunners are chasing glory in the Champions League and Barclays Premier League but will now have to soldier on with their two most influential midfielders.

Arshavin has revealed that he will be out for between 'two to three weeks' after sustaining a calf injury in the 2-2 draw with Barcelona at the Emirates on Wednesday night.
