Eduardo has been included in the Croatia squad ahead of their match against Romania on February 11, despite the Arsenal

striker not having played a competitive match for nearly a year.

The Brazilian-born Croat has been sidelined since his horrific leg brek and ankle dislocation against Birmingham last February and has yet to return to Arsene Wenger's first team.

However, Croatia coach Slaven Bilic believes the 25-year-old has recovered from the potentially career-ending injury and could feature in the friendly in Bucharest.

'Eduardo is ready and he will definitely play against Romania. I talked with Arsène Wenger and he agreed. Eduardo will play 30 minutes or one half,' he said.

Fellow Premier League stars Luka Modric and Vedran Corluka of Tottenham and Portsmouth's Niko Kranjcar have also been included in Bilic's squad.
