Arsenal star Nasri faces stamp ban as ref tells FA he did not see Hull incident

Samir Nasri looks set to be charged with violent conduct after referee Steve Bennett told the Football Association he had not seen the Arsenal midfielder's alleged stamp on Richard Garcia's ankle at the Emirates on Saturday.[LNB] Video footage of the flashpoint which triggered a mass confrontation of players during Hull City's 3-0 defeat to Arsenal will be reviewed today by the FA. [LNB]The referee told Hull players at the time that Nasri and Hunt had both been booked for their roles in the pushing and shoving which ensued. If charged and found guilty, the France midfielder will be banned for three matches, ruling him out of the Premier League games against Aston Villa and Portsmouth and the FA Cup third-round tie at West Ham.[LNB] FA disciplinary chiefs will examine video evidence before deciding whether to charge any other players, such as Hull's Nick Barmby, who appeared to push Nasri in the face.[LNB] Stan Kroenke, Arsenal's biggest shareholder, has increased his stake to 29.9 per cent, just 17 shares short of the 30 per cent that would trigger a mandatory takeover bid.
