Emmanuel Frimpong ready for Arsenal to loan him out again in order to speed up his return from his latest injury setback – according to The Mirror.

The bringer of 'DENCH!' was sent on a season-long loan at Wolves last season – but for the second time in his career ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament in his knee in a Barclays Premier League game against QPR.

Frimpong, 20, is closing in on a first team comback after seven months out – but is eyeing up a loan away from Arsenal in order to gain some match fitness before playing for Arsenal. Frimpong has been turning out for the clubs U21's in recent weeks – along with fellow youngster Jack Wilshere in order to get back in to football.

But he told The Mirror: “I dont think I am 100 per cent right – I dont want to push myself if im not ready – I dont think I am ready for the Arsenal first team yet.”

The tough tackling midfiedler is hoping Wenger will sanction another spell away in order to boost his match fitness and sharpness. A loan in January for a return to Wolves is on the cards for Frimpong – who grew affection for the club in his time there.

He tweeted lsat February after his injury: “Bad News is that I'm out for 6-9months with my Knee. I wanna thank all the wolves fans for their support since I've been here and really Hope wolves stay up this season.”

With his passionate tweets and bust-up with ex-Arsenal player Samir Nasri last season – Frimpong has endeared himself to Arsenal fans all over the world. They will be keen for him to make his mark in the midfield of Arsenal with fellow former youth team player Jack Wilshere.
