Arsenal want to go head-to-head with PSG for Sunderland star Stephane Sessegnon.

According to The Mirror, Arsenal will rival the French club in a summer bidding war.

The Benin winger signed for the North East club last January from PSG for £6m, but his performances this season have seen his value rise to around £10m.

Martin O'Neill has admitted that Sunderland could struggle to keep hold of him because his family have failed to settle in North of England.

Arsene Wenger is an admirer of Sessegnon's talents and will try and match any offer made by the French giants once the transfer window re-opens in the summer.
