Arsenal poised to unveil Marouane Chamakh as striker arrives in London to seal deal

Arsenal expect to officially announce the signing of Marouane Chamakh next week after the striker finalised his to move to the Emirates on a five-year contract.[LNB]Chamakh, who will arrive from Bordeaux on a free transfer, is back in France after making a flying visit to London to undergo a medical and put pen to paper on a deal which see him earn in the region of £50,000-a-week.[LNB]Chamakh turned down Liverpool, Tottenham and Everton and the 26-year-old Morocco international has already admitted he is destined for the Emirates.[LNB] Bordeaux say goodbye: Arsenal say hello as Chamakh closes in on deal [LNB]However, Bordeaux president Jean-Lois Triaud thinks the Morocco stiker could be making a huge mistake.[LNB]Triaud claims Chamakh agreed to sign for Arsenal 'without ever speaking to Arsene Wenger'.[LNB]He added: 'I believe Marouane has been advised very badly.
