Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas makes his comeback in Spain victory

Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas returned to action after two months out injured in Spain's 1-0 win over South Korea yesterday - and came close to scoring with a shot that hit the bar.

Jesus Navas eventually scored the stunning late goal that won it for Spain.

Fabregas, linked with a move to Barcelona this week, played for an hour without any problems.

He admitted: 'It's been a tough match. We are coming off a long season and a build-up with a lot of training sessions, morning and afternoon, and it tells.

'The first half was better than the second for me. But I am feeling good.'

Pepe Reina made a couple of important saves in the match. Striker Fernando Torres remains the only Spanish player not to have featured in the warm-up matches as he continues his recovery from knee surgery.
