Reports in the Dail Mail suggest that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is looking to make a sensational move to bring in Manchester United's Portuguese winger Luis Nani

The 26-year-old has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford all season after falling out-of-favour with Sir Alex Ferguson and a break down in contract negotiations. Wenger believes the winger would make an excellent edition to his Arsenal squad and could replace the coveted Theo Walcott, reportedly on his way to Liverpool.

Nani believes his relationship with Ferguson is beyond repair and has told friends and family that he believes his future is not at Old Trafford, although he is still contracted with the Red Devils until 2014.

The winger, who missed Sunday's Manchester derby through injury, has a training ground bust up with promising United youngster Davide Petrucci earlier this season. He has not played since and was hauled off during the Champions League match at Braga in early November.
