THOMAS VERMAELEN believes Arsenal's 6-1 thrashing of Everton is the perfect preparation for Tuesday?s visit to Celtic.[LNB]But the Belgian defender, who scored on his Gunners debut at Goodison Park, is refusing to allow Saturday?s success to serve as a distraction ahead of the club?s Champions League qualifier at Parkhead.[LNB] Vermaelen said: ?Of course the Everton result is good for our spirit but already we are looking towards Tuesday.[LNB]?We can be happy but now we have to be focused on qualifying for the Champions League.[LNB]?Celtic are a good team and we will have to be on top of our game to beat them. They have some good, physical players up front.?[LNB]Boss Arsene Wenger insisted the win at Everton had helped lift the mood in the Gunners camp following the sales of Emmanuel Adebayor and Kolo Toure. He said: ?It is important. It lifted our confidence and that is good. But we are on alert as well. We know every game is different.?[LNB]
