Arsenal on Friday confirmed that Johan Djourou and Francis Coquelin are to temporarily leave the club on season-long loan deals.
Switzerland centre-back Djourou, 26, will play for German side Hamburg, having spent the second half of last season at Hannover, while 22-year-old French midfielder Coquelin has agreed to join another Bundesliga team, Freiburg.
