Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger: We can beat Chelsea and Liverpool

Arsene Wenger has made it clear he believes Arsenal are mentally strong enough to meet their next challenges head on.[LNB] After losing so meekly at home to Manchester United last Sunday they face two crucial games - against leaders Chelsea at Stamford Bridge tomorrow and Liverpool at the Emirates in midweek.[LNB] Setback: Arsenal keeper Almunia paws Nani's cross into his own net[LNB] Wenger admitted: 'There is a lot of scepticism around us at the moment and we have to show everybody how strong we are. I am convinced that we are capable of winning anywhere in the world. I believe that if we play at our best we will win and I know how much the players need this kind of win.[LNB] 'This team is mentally strong and dedicated. But because they have not won yet they make it a bit harder in their heads to win than it is. We played with the handbrake on a little bit against United.[LNB] 'If we are in a strong position after these games, we don't have to play Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool, Aston Villa, Everton again this season. Six points behind Chelsea is not dramatic.'
