Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger rules out January move for unsettled Ruud van Nistelrooy

Arsene Wenger has ruled out a January move for Real Madrid misfit Ruud van Nistelrooy.[LNB]Arsenal will be in the market for a new striker once the transfer window re-opens next month after a string of injuries to their attacking options.[LNB]Robin van Persie is a long-term absentee, while Nicklas Bendtner and Eduardo are currently nursing injuries leaving Wenger short of firepower.[LNB] Exit: Ruud van Nistelrooy is set to leave Real Madrid[LNB]Van Nistelrooy is being offered round the Premier League by Real who are eager to offload the former Manchester United star in January.[LNB]However, Van Nistelrooy can scratch off the Emirates as one of his possible destinations after Wenger admitted a move for the Holland striker would be impossible due to a number of bust-ups with the 33-year-old during his time at Old Trafford.[LNB]Wenger could not bring himself to say Van Nistelrooy's name after one flare-up, while his bust-up with Martin Keown after being accused of cheating by the ex-England defender lives long in the memory.[LNB]Wenger said: 'It would not be the best of starts, bearing in mind our past relationship. [LNB]'But we can't dream too much of finding a world class player because that's what is needed to strengthen our team.
