Arsenal boss promises new signings once Walcott deal is agreed.

Arsene Wenger has promised Arsenal fans that the London club are ready to 'spend big again', but only once the club has tied Theo Walcott down to a long-term deal.

The Gunners have been linked with a string of players across Europe, while a new deal for Walcott is expected to be pushed through shortly.

“We are working very hard,” Wenger said.

“First of all we want to sort out the injuries we have, and we are trying very hard to close the deal with Walcott. “Once we have done that, we will certainly do something else.”

The likes of Yann M'Villa and Mathieu Valbuena have been linked with the club, and Wenger will look to bring both to the club, once he gets Walcott tied down to the club for the long-term.
