ARSENE WENGER admits he has no regrets over selling Emmanuel Adebayor to Manchester City during the summer and believes he has enough firepower to challenge for the title this season. Adebayor ended months of uncertainty surrounding his future when he completed a £25m move to City during the summer. And the Togo striker is brimming with confidence following three goals in his opening four games. But Wenger is confident his team can keep Adebayor at bay when they come up against him at Eastlands on Saturday. Wenger said: "Adebayor has started the season on fire and we have to put that fire out. I don't' regret losing him. "I believe we lost a great player but we have other great players. I believe in Eduardo, Vela and Bendtner and we already have van Persie as a big asset in our team. "We have a good striking force and we have Walcott, who can be turned into a striker and we can cope with that. "I personally don't think that Adebayor was obsessed by money. I must say that to be fair to him and we can deal with that. If you consider the Premier League you cannot say we are one of the bottom clubs financially." Wenger will come up against Kolo Toure who also chose to quit the north London club during the summer, but the Arsenal boss says he never holds any grudges against his former players. Wenger added: "There are no hard feelings for Toure or Adebayor. I always wish my former players to be happy. It is part of life that players move on. That is not a reason that you want them not to be happy. "I believe they are a good side because they have good players and a good level of confidence because they started well. It will be an interesting test."
